Wise Wood Families has partnered with SkipTheDepot, a convenient door-to-door bottle and can collection service that makes refundable recycling and fundraising simple.
With SkipTheDepot, you can easily turn your empty bottles and cans into donations that support our students without ever leaving home!

Book a pickup from your home or business.
Place your bags outside on your pickup day.
Choose Henry Wise Wood as your charity of choice.
Your refund will be automatically directed to Henry Wise Wood School Council - helping us continue to support students with learning differences.

Casino Fundraiser - April 1 & 2 2026
Our last casino took place April 2026. Thank you to all the volunteers that supported this important event!
Casino funding raises an average of $80,000 every two years, making it our most important fundraiser. These funds directly support your student through investments in:
English/ELL & Lead books
Math & science lab equipment
Drama lights & sound
Elder guest speakers
Sports & fitness equipment
Robotics & construction tools
Sewing machines, photography equipment, and more
Each volunteer shift brings in approximately $2,000 for our school and it’s easier (and more fun!) than you might think. You’ll receive full training, work alongside other parents and community members, and enjoy a free meal during your shift.
Who can volunteer?
Who can volunteer?
Anyone 18+ (no experience required). Volunteers can be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, or adult siblings. No police clearance is required.
Daytime, evening, and late-night shifts are available.
