In 2025 we collected information on Active Transportation issues impacting Wise Wood Students.
Findings were shared with our CBE trustee, Nancy Close and Councilor Rob Ward in May 2026, presented by grade 12 students.

Transportation concerns were raised by students and parents at our September School Council meeting. We wanted to better understand how widespread these concerns were across the Henry Wise Wood community.
We therefore launched the Henry Wise Wood Student Transit Experience Survey, asking students and families to share their experiences travelling to and from school.
We received 521 responses. On October 9, Wisewood Families brought the survey findings directly to Ward 11 Councillor Rob Ward, representatives from the Ward 11 office, Calgary Transit and Henry Wise Wood administration.
